Loved the location of the house. The house was beautifully decorated and appliances were updated. The easy access to the beach and the large deck won us over. I plan on staying here every summer!

My family was very impressed with the quality of furnishings and accommodations. I liked the immediateaccessibility to the beach. We had a problem with thewater heater, but management sent someone out immediately. Overall it is a very nice and well maintainedfacility; and we are already talking about a return visit next year!

We loved our stay at this beachfront home on Laguna Beach. The home itself felt so welcoming and cozy, and the private beach access was so nice. Overall, booking with Experience Gulf Coast was a very pleasant experience, and we will probably book here again!!

We loved our stay at Southern Yankee last Memorial Day that we are coming back for a family vacation this June! Cannot recommend this spot enough - beautiful big kitchen for breakfast and lunch with a view and great fire pit area for a glass of wine and those gorgeous sunsets! We live just a few miles from this beach house and recommend it to all of our family and friends that come down for a beach vacation!

Reasonable solo houses on the gulf brought back may memories. The house, view and beach access was top notch and owners have gone out of their way to make the place first rate.

The house was just as described and perfect for our family vacation. We easily could have added more people (2 adults, 2 children) and has plenty of space still. We can’t wait to go back!

We really enjoyed our stay! Nice little beach house with easy beach access! Just as described! Great communication with rental company too. When we arrived one of the smoke detectors was beeping and they responded quickly and had someone out in less than 30 minutes. Very clean and spacious with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We did have some issues with the electrical outlets not working in the bathrooms, lots of ants outside on patio, there is no TV in front bedroom and we never figured out how to work the master bedroom TV (it was smarter than us...lol). Just a heads up the master bedroom mattress is EXTREMELY soft. But if you like that type of mattress you will like that one! They did have some very worn out rusty beach chairs and a tent that didn't work sitting outside. So don't forget to bring your own tent and beach chairs for comfort!! Keep in mind the driveway is gravel and the entrance is at the back of the house, so it wasn't the best setup for my 86 year old mother-n-law due to her balance issues but we managed just fine! We would consider staying here again.

Our family of four had an amazing spring break at this house. Two teens and we all had plenty of space but not too much extra so we could spend plenty of quality time together. The beach is literal steps from the back deck. Its gorgeous and quiet. I hope we have an opportunity to stay here again. It was perfect.

this was ideal for us had everything needed was in good location to get to resturants if a person wanted the kitchen was well equipped with the cookware and utensils was clean and 40 steps to beach just right will definitely try to get this place again THANKS for letting us stay

We love the Southern Yankee! It’s beautiful, comfortable, and steps away from the ocean. The location is great because it’s a quiet beach but close enough to drive to PBC or Rosemary Beach. The kitchen is great for cooking, the outside deck is perfect for outdoor dining, and our kids love the bunk beds! We definitely plan to return!

It was the best beachfront rental I’ve ever rented. The location was the best…. Just 4 steps from the deck to the sand. Aaaaamazing!!! It was a safe, quiet, clean and very friendly location. Only weird thing was other people also had their dogs swimming at the same beach area as us, with no leash, just running wild and splashing water at us.

This house was perfect and exactly as described and so much more. Personally, loved the inclusion of the spices and pantry of miscellaneous things that we always end up buying on vacation then throwing away. Loved that we could use what was there and leave what we purchased. There was a big box of beach toys and towels and sunscreen, which was SO NICE to have even though we brought our own, next time we know we don't have to. The location is so nice, both in proximity to the beach (steps!) and the distance to pier park (close but not too close). We like being a little bit away from the crowd and this was perfect. Can't say enough great things about this place, we will be back for sure.

This house is a dream. The inside of the home was impeccably decorated and clean. The kitchen was very well designed for entertaining and well equipped. The living room sofa was super comfortable as were the mattresses.
The BEST part of this property is the emerald beach view and it’s silky white sand… and the sunset (omg… that sunset was surreal). There are no words to do this home and the view justice… it’s something that must be experienced. Indeed this is a wonderful place to make beautiful and happy memories.
The property manager was direct and to the point. To hassle no fuss. The check-in and check-out were seamless. We will most definitely be back as this is now our favorite spot in Florida.

I'm not one to leave reviews, and have rented 20+ properties through VRBO, but this one is extra special, and definitely my favorite property I have stayed at along the gulf. It is pristinely clean, more than spacious enough for our crew with 2 separate living areas (one was sun room we spent most of our time in), and all the attention to details were not spared. I truly felt at home at this gem, literal steps away from the water with fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, so much so I almost didn't leave a review so that it wouldn't be booked the next time we wanted to come :). You're so close to the surf you feel like you are still on the water while lounging on the patio and we used the stone fire pit every night. The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating, even letting us add an extra night in the middle of our stay. It is a one story, single home, so super private and accessible to family members that may not be able to make the trek across a long board walk or negotiate stairs, and came with a crib mattress, pack and play, baby monitor, children's beach toys/plates/etc. that my 4 year old was obsessed with. Sunsets were incredible and the outdoor space is something that you don't normally get at a rental like this. We will be back. Thanks for having us!
